Handmade Soap

We have various beautiful and creamy bar soaps throughout the year.  Every batch is a new delight and no two are exactly the same so there is always something new to choose.

Each has it's own unique characteristics, colors and scents but you can be assured that each is great for your skin and will leave you feeling good about what you are putting on your body! The Wood & Sage Apothecary stands out because our deepest desire is to incorporate unique, body supportive ingredients that you won't find in so many other hand crafted soaps in an already amazing buttery base.

Bars vary between 3.5 and 4.0 ounce or more and are of a generous size.  If they are small rounds, we sell them in packs of 2.

Vanilla Chai Latte - This bar is tallow and goat milk based with layers of coffee/molasses, maple syrup and honey.  Very lightly scented and colored simply by the ingredients.

Moss Tree Bark - This dark mossy green soap is goat milk based and includes vitamin and mineral enriched ingredients such as kale and spirulina and has the addition of poplar bud sap which is good for achy joints.  Rosemary, eucalyptus and tee tree scented with stronger essential oils that bring out the warming properties.

Milk and Honey - About as natural as it comes...made with goat milk and honey and completely unscented for the purist.

Peppermint Twist - These smaller rounds are tallow and goat milk based with peppermint essential oil and a two-tone swirl.  Fun for a guest bathroom or a small travel along soap.

Rose Quartz - This dreamy, brightly scented soap is made with coconut milk, beautiful butters, extra virgin olive oil, jojoba and our exquisite hand foraged rose hip oil and topped with rose and sumac.

Carrot and Turmeric Coconut Milk Soap - This rustic soap is a down-to-earth root soap just in time for spring.  Kept unscented to allow the basic goodness shine through, these great sized round bars encourage connection to the natural world and all the goodness it offers.

Lemon Balm & Coconut Cream - This pretty spring soap has a vibrant and fresh scent of lemon grass essential oil and the creamy lather comes from exquisite butters and the addition of beautiful coconut cream.  Oils are infused with hand harvested lemon balm.   Large and small round options are available.  

Undercover Camouflage Soap - Dark and Light - For our hunters, these undercover bars are great for both men and women who want to slip into the woods undercover. No scent, no oxides, no ultramarines - nothing to give you away. Earth clays and charcoal blend you right in with your earthy surroundings and void human scent. Laden with quality oils and butters and goat milk to take great care of your skin so while YOU may be unnoticed, your skin needs are not forgotten.

Spa Soap - This beautiful imprinted soap is scented with calming lavender. Relax and treat yourself to a lovely creamy bar that takes you away to a restful space. Coconut oil, shea, olive, sweet almond and bubbly castor oil make it exquisite.

M-R Beer Soap - This layered tallow based soap is made with beer and a restful hops infused tincture. Cocoa powder gives the color dimension and a depth of rosemary and orange bring the bubbly effervescence.

Rosewood - Luscious goat milk, dandelion honey, and shea would be amazing on their own, but we go the extra mile using our rose hip infusion. Rose and lime scented and colored with french pink clay, you just have to try it to believe it.

Blue Coconut - Another version of our smaller tallow rounds that bring you to the island beaches. Infused with homemade vanilla and coconut essence and coconut milk.

Mint and Cacao - Coconut Milk sets the tone for this lovely light mint soap with warm cacao notes. French green clay and spirulina lightly color the shea butter base. One of my personal favorites that reminds me of a creamy Andes mint.

Jupiter Sand - This planetary soap is a deeper, more intense version of our carrot turmeric soap. Absolutely great for quieting irritated skin by utilizing the properties of turmeric and oats. The very light exfoliating feel removes grit, grime. I would reach for this one after a day in the garden. Unscented.

We love local deliveries and we deliver free within 15 miles, however we can ship within the continental U.S.  Shipping is based on weight of order.
